When I drove by the gas station here in Salem, OR yesterday, it said regular unleaded was $3.71 a gallon. It's gotten so bad here that stations with older pumps have applied to the state to get permission to sell gas by the half gallon since the older computers will only calculate gas up to $3.99 and apparently, when they go to order new equipment it's back ordered for months.
Well the prices have gone up here in Texas too - over $3.50 a gallon. So Meemaw said let's walk to school - 2 1/2 miles both ways. It's ok going there but coming back is killing me. Pool anyone!
