Nyquil anyone?

by teresa

I spent the greater part of yesterday sick in bed.
The cruds.
Head crud, throat crud and ear crud.
Not fun.
What's also not fun is what I found when I came down this morning.

Three pairs of shoes thrown in the living room floor.
Seven used cups. Half filled with drinks and in every room of the house (except the kitchen).
A bowl under the Christmas tree.
Two jackets (smelly) thrown across the couch.
An old pizza box on the counter.
A kfc bag and plastic silverware under the kitchen table.
A sink FULL of dirty dishes and a dishwasher FULL of washed dishes (which I had run the night before last).

I see I need to reacquaint my family with the many uses of a hamper, dishwasher and a washing machine. Either that or I am pulling a Norma Rea over here!

Ugh, my house was a disaster when I came home yesterday. It never ends, huh?

Man ... you got those people spoiled. Maybe you need to go postal on 'em. Nanny Jackie

I hope you're feeling better. You've been working too hard.

Hope you feel better soon. I have been trying to function on less sleep and it's been hard.

We got our tree down the day after Christmas and started cleaning. The earliest it's ever been done. The tree was dying and Jamie was gone for the day/night.

We watched Seven Brides for Seven Brothers - another great musical.
