He Lives!

By Chris

I love hymns. Nobody else does, apparently. They're fading away. That's cool though. I thought it would be appropriate to do the three stanzas of one of my favorites over the next three days . . .

I serve a risen Saviour; He's in the world today.
I know that He is living, whatever men may say.
I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer,
And just the time I need Him He's always near.

You're really old school if you can sing the rest :))

This is George's favorite song. Back in the day he thought this was the only song they sang at church. Then he realized that was because he only went to church on Resurrection Sunday.

I can! We sang some old hymns at a very traditional service Thursday night - I loved it. Old Rugged Cross and In Remembrance of Me! From Mel - friend of Teresa's

Yes, I know all the words to that song. I've been singing it all week. That chapel service Jackie mentioned was really great. And, Jackie, it's funny what you wrote about George and the "He Lives" hymn.
