It's not embarrassing at all when your nephew screams out to you (infront of 30 adults) "I got hit in the NUTS!"

Chris and I took Kai to his baseball game last night.
Katy told us it began at 6:00, but he need to be there at 5:30.
We got there at 5:30 and we were alone.
hmmm
Turns out it didn't start until 6:30.
We got out, set up our chairs (did I mention it was freezing outside) and waited.
And waited and waited. Something ended up being wrong with the scheduling and there was really no game after all.
We started to pack it up and the coach decided to have an hour long practice instead.
Oh my. That was the most boring two hours I have spent in a long time.
This team is beyond awful. Picking nose, slapping each other, rolling around on the ground...all while the plays are going on. arrrrrg. If it was a game it would have been bearable....but watching a kid get pitched to 40 times in a row and him never making contact is about as exciting as watching paint dry.

Hmmm. I'm really glad I had to go to church last night.

Katy...You need to wash Kai's mouth out with soap (or hot sauce).

She forgot to say she got dropped off at home, while I took them to watch a friend's baseball game after that. And, as far as I know, nuts is the official descriptor of where he got hit.

Chris.

Stop bragging Chris...we all know you are the best uncle in the world. It was just too cold for me to go to another game...plus I needed to get back to my book.
