day at school

There was some drama at school today. One of the special education teaching assistants fell down and hit her head against a desk. She knocked herself out cold. The teacher is the room came running down the hall and got the nurse. They called 911 and a fire truck and ambulance came. 20 minutes later! The fire station is about 1 minute from the school! Glad it wasn't me laying there for twenty minutes. Her name is Maureen Durkin. She was awake and crying when they wheeled her by me on the way out. Poor thing! All the children coming down for lunch were excited to se a fire truck at school. They all thought they were going to have a fire drill.
