Last nights football game was not good. We lost....and to a team we were SUPPOSED to beat! Kai and Ben had a good time though. They shouted with the megaphone...shook their pom pom and pigged out on concession food. Kids can have fun anywhere.
Nick and Lauren just arrived from the church lock-in. Nick walked in...and dropped like a stone on the couch. I bet he doesn't move till after noon. Lauren said he (and she) had a great time....and NEVER went to sleep. I'm impressed! They played games...ate....and even broke into teams and had a scavenger hunt. I'm sure once Nick wakes....he will be telling us all about it. Poor Lauren...she has cheering practice from 8-noon....then works at Target from 1-9:30pm. Ouch! That's gonna hurt....not having any sleep.
This morning is our first soccer game. I am actually a bit nervous. You feel like the parents will be dissappointed in you if the kids don't win. In reality...the parents are great...and they would be proud no matter what. Wish us luck. Ben plays at 9:00am and Kai plays at 11:00am. You KNOW I am goind to take about a hundred pictures!
